Happy Wedding Wednesday! It’s been a busy week here filled with meetings & networking functions. Monday was an exciting day for me & LYDD b/c we were featured over on Designer Blogs! Today I am sharing some inspiration for ceremony details specifically for guests. They say weddings are all about the bride – & they are! But it is important to also think about the people invited & their comfort throughout the celebration. Brides go all out at the reception to keep guests well fed, hydrated, & entertained. So here are some unique ways to incorporate similar elements into the most important part of your day – the I DOs!

1. Fans
Great for outdoor weddings in the summer – guests can fan themselves to cool off. Best of all, you can match the fan color to your wedding theme!

2. Umbrellas
Like the fans, if it is a hot day when the sun is blazing, give guests the option of shade when outside.

3. Pillows
Guests will appreciate this perk, especially the grandparents! It is also a unique way to add pops of color that coordinate with your wedding palette – or even have fun with mixing & matching! I especially love the 1st picture with rented vintage furniture as ceremony seating.

4. Blankets
For a Spring or Autumn outdoor wedding when there is chill in the air. Guests can bundle up while watching you proclaim your love & then take it home to enjoy with their loved ones.

5. Tissues
Even guests that don’t think they will cry, end up shedding some happy tears! Place little bags of tissues on the seats for them & they will be thankful.
